Documents for a Bolt driver in Poland

Bolt’s Polish guide lists a minimum age of 18, a valid Polish licence and a smartphone. Having no previous taxi employment does not remove document checks or local requirements.

  • A Polish category B driving licence, with clear images of both sides.
  • An identity document: ID card, passport or residence card.
  • A criminal record certificate; Bolt requests one no older than 30 days at the verification visit.
  • Current medical and psychological driver assessments.
  • A profile photograph and a TAXI driver ID where the city requires it.

Foreign drivers should also check their residence and work entitlement. Have the complete set reviewed in advance and bring the originals to the appointment. Keep your password and verification codes under your own control.

Which vehicles qualify for Bolt

Eligibility depends on the individual vehicle, city and ride category. A model name alone is insufficient: provide the year and vehicle details before buying or renting. Approval for one category does not automatically cover the others.

Assessing earnings and payouts

Revenue displayed in an app is different from money left after costs. To compare options, deduct platform fees, partner services, rental, fuel and other agreed expenses. Time spent online alone does not guarantee paid trips.

SPACE PARTNER’s fleet fee is 50 zł per week; VAT settlement terms are agreed separately. The SPACE app offers payouts 24/7 and income tracking. Platform commission and rental are not automatically included in that 50 zł, so review the full calculation before starting.

If activation is delayed

Read the feedback attached to the particular document. You may need a clearer photograph, a renewed document or corrected personal details. Separately check the car’s approval and completion of in-person verification.

When changing fleets, Bolt specifies a new registration using the new partner’s link; trip history and bonuses do not transfer to the new account. Agree the process and settle with your previous fleet first. Do not create unapproved duplicates to bypass outstanding issues. Your first working day depends on complete documents and the platform’s decision.
